Step-by-step Process for Cashless Claims
1. If you planned to go to the hospital, you need to tell the TPA and get a cashless authorization at least 72 hours before you go.
2. The TPA should be told within 24 hours of the hospitalisation if there is an emergency.
3. Fill out the form the TPA gives you to give permission to pay without cash. First, the TPA will check your coverage and make sure you are eligible to make a claim.
4. Put all the necessary documents in an envelope and send it to the TPA department with the properly filled out claim form. If there is a difference, the TPA will get in touch with you within 4 hours of getting the form to make sure everything is clear.
5. Pay for the costs that the Royal Sundaram health insurance plan doesn’t cover.
6.If this plan doesn’t cover a certain illness, you will get a letter of rejection within 2 hours.
How to file a claim with Royal Sundaram Health Insurance for cashless facility (for Worldwide Hospitalization)
1. If you need to go to the hospital overseas because of an emergency, you must tell your insurance company within 24 hours.
2. The company would check to see if you were eligible to file a claim, and the insurance company would call you to start the claim.
3. If the pre-authorization request is approved, the insurance company will pay the hospital bills right away.
4. If there are extra costs, you have to pay them.
If you want to file a claim and the treatment was done at a non-network hospital, here’s what you need to do.
1. Send the properly filled out and signed claim form to the insurance company within 30 days of leaving the hospital.
2. If the insurance company finds everything to be in order, the claim amount will be paid back within 30 days of the claim being made.
3. If there is a problem or your claim is denied, you will get a letter of rejection within 7 days of sending in your claim.
4. The money will be sent to the person who asked for or proposed it.
5. You have to bring all the papers to the branch office.
